Which Thanksgiving Tradition is most common?

Every family has Thanksgiving traditions. From turkey to mashed potatoes, every family does something special for their thanksgiving meal. But when I sat down to make a Thanksgiving article, I thought, “which one is most common?”

An article on National Geographic claims that traditional foods include turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. A lesser known tradition is to break the wishbone of the turkey. A study by Nationwide claims  57% percent of pies eaten are pumpkin pies. A study by Statista claims that a consistently high amount of turkey has been consumed recently.

Turkey is the most common thanksgiving tradition, with three sites leaning towards turkey being the most common tradition of thanksgiving.
