A local attraction, the Botanic Gardens consist of a conservatory, children’s village, and a community vegetable garden and greenhouse. Along with a bunch of different plants, there’s even animals such as a turtle, foxes, geese, birds, and more. The Gardens are mainly for people’s enjoyment to walk through and just see all of the different plants, and to enjoy yourself surrounded by nature.

In the conservatory there are plants that aren’t native to Cheyenne, such as palm trees and other pants, as well as a warm environment different than the Cheyenne cold in the winter. The children village is a good place for kids to play, as its practically a playground with very many interesting features, such as a wetlands area. Outside there are acres of plants, a perfect place to take a walk through and enjoy yourself. Kristin Custis, a employee at the gardens, was willing to talk about it. “It’s a great place to come, and breath the good air, and see all of the beautiful plants.” Kristin says about the Botanic Gardens.

She also talks about how anyone can come, as long as its in the hours, 10am to 5pm. This means anybody can come and go. So if your bored and have nothing to do, you can always come to the Gardens and see all of the features it offers!
